Burger Boy restaurant and bar in Auckland dining design with bespoke artwork feature wall and kitchen

Burger Boy

Based on the success of the first small Burger Boy in Viaduct, Good Group commissioned Studio Design + Architecture to renovate and extend this burger joint into a full-scale burger restaurant and bar. Space planning, concept design and a full set of working drawings were completed according to the client’s very tight budget and time frame, ahead of a significant sporting event. The red painted full height corrugated wall and black ceiling are the two key elements of the interior scheme that represent the existing branding and serve as anchors for the ultra cool street-art style graphics.

FAST DESIGN, FAST FOOD

We looked at the branding material that had been done earlier which had some very cool street art and chose a celadon green colour which added to and confirmed the brand. We upholstered the custom designed booths in the green and, combined with the old school style of furniture and graffiti-style graphics, it became reminiscent of an American diner with a funky edge. The layout creates interesting relaxing corners for small or larger parties. The bar has a youthful vibe while maintaining the warm and friendly atmosphere that characterizes the identity of Burger Boy.

We would love to hear about the start of your new project
