The Depot
The Depot Orewa is a live/ work development of 29 apartments of approx 75-100 sqm on the first floor, with the same sized commercial space below. The apartment and commercial spaces are separate and could have either one tenant or two.
The design included a café space at the street entry to the new ‘lane’ style of community shared roadway. The development is 300 m from Orewa beach and even closer to the café district and is designed with a more contemporary look to attract the younger population moving into the area and commuting to Auckland.
The site will be fully landscaped in a coastal style. The finish on the exterior of the apartments creates variation and texture with a mixture of coloursteel and cedar in varying shades. The interior of the apartments is contemporary with light finishes.
